RSS is a great invention, I utilize it on my Iphone. I have the Free RSS App, and it connects to all my favorite websites and updates my phone with all the new content. It save me so much time.

Maria,

Thanks for the kind words! (For others, <a href="http://www.raincityguide.com/2006/10/05/blogging-at-the-edcon-2006/" rel="nofollow">she's discussing the seminar we talked about on this post!</a>)

I'm glad to find out that you found the presentation helpful, although we're always looking for ways to improve our presentation and you provide a bunch of great ideas! Thanks!

In terms of posting content... You might be surprised how easy it becomes one you start writing! Really! Once you start, it gets kind of addicting and all of your activities become "something to blog about!" :)

Hi and thanks for pointing us seminar participants to this article. I actually have been very curious about RSS and didn't have the faintest idea what it was. I will try it out and hope to review more blogs to see if this is something I think I could do well. Your presentation was both very informative and inspiring. Looking at your blog however, it a little discouraging - I'm not sure how in the world I could find enought to say to fill a page much less all the info you present. Very impressive by the way.
In re the seminar: I wish there had been a little more of you and a little less of Russ. Just for future reference, we don't need to be told what you're going to tell us for half and hour at the beggining of the seminar. Just broadcast an overview on the overhead and go for it! Also, if you are not going to answer questions then don't tell people you're going to answer questions. Just ask people to hold questions until the first break when a lot will be clearer. OR ask people to write down their questions and reserve about half an hour at the end of the seminar to answer them. I'm a former teacher and I can tell you students get very frustrated when there questions are not answered. If you set up the appropriate expectations at the beginning, everyone is on the same page. I do understand though, Russ is an atty (as am I) and atty's like to hear themselves speak.
this really was my favorite seminare though. WELL DONE!
