Not only will you be subjected to smokes, but also loud noises and music can reach the <a href="http://www.housediary.com" rel="nofollow">house</a>. I guess if the situation can't be helped, just install sound-proof <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Window" rel="nofollow">windows</a> or make sure that there are minimal distractions in the area. I agree that living near bars can be a problem. Not only will you be subjected to smokes, but also loud noises and music can reach the house.
