Ardell, you can change "Sold: within last 3 months" to Sold: within 5 years." Word of warning, though: if you are not zoomed in on an area, it might be a little slow to update.

Galen, I spent some time in ShackPrices.com today and was quite impressed with several of the features, particularly the sale history. I wondered though what the timeframe was for the sold properties. For a site like yours I would think going back a year would be quite informative for people trying to assess the range of pricing of a given area. The sales all seemed to be quite recent. Does it show all sales in the last 3 months? 6 months?

Ardell, you should see the "slicker" ShackPrices in late June. I'm looking forward to getting it out to the public.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I think Stewart was the first person I met in person because of RCG (it must have been last Spring!). He had been thinking that his wife should start a real estate blog to market her business, and by building RCG, he says I pressured them into actually putting together Seattle Real Estate Talk. Stewart is a very smart guy and had he put in even half as much time as I did, I know that his Seattle Real Estate Talk would be the most popular real estate blog in Seattle.

I had a chance to listen to the Podcast. Dustin, you are a remarkable person and it shows in everything you do. Galen, we all await the final changes and unveiling of the "slicker" version of ShackPrices. Do you have a target date? You both did an excellent job and the interview was both informative and entertaining. I particularly enjoyed Stewart's comments regarding "demystifying the process" and blogs allowing people to acquire a "confidence in the person they are going to be dealing with". I share his sentiments in my hopes for agent blogs, generally.
