I'd love to see your better half again. She's a pip! It's obvious from my end of the fence that a change is in the wind in home design. Stainless isn't going to stay around. Some builders are trying to go back to black, but my guess is white's coming back. The big surprise I am seeing here and there is white window casings turning back to dark window casings. Did you know you can pinpoint the age of a house simply by looking at the colors of the window casings, cabinetry tones and tile size? Last year an old Street of Dreams house from the late eighties couldn't sell on resale for top dollar because of the gold framing of the shower and gold faucets in the master bath, the grey marble tile everywhere and the mauve colored sinks and the dark wood baseboards, door frames and doors I'm very interested in seeing what's new and I'm hoping at least one will go generation X, though that's harder to do with a very large home. We should all pick our favorite house and see if it's like the Beatles...some like Paul, some George, some John and believe it or not, yes, some Ringo!
