[...] While I’m talking about Inman, I thought I’d mention that, like many other real estate bloggers, I’ve been invited to participate in their Blogger’s Connect at the very end of July. I’m definitely looking forward to it as I had a lot of fun last year in San Francisco… From the overview: The content, speakers and workshops are being designed in the blogosphere. We have invited 20 leading real estate bloggers to use their blogs to reach out to their readers to invent the program. Imagine the first “user-generated program” including panels, topics and sessions. Could be silly, could be interesting — certain to be fun. [...]

Bert,

It was definitely tight, but they managed to reposition some tables and squeeze all 8 of us around the table... I love that place!

I'm sorry I missed the dinner. Besides the attendees, the Nanking is one of my favorite spots.
But the place is SMALL! I don't recollect any table seating more than four. Did you change seats every so often, just to talk with everyone?

[...] I also made it along to an excellent line up of Chinese food hosted by Dustin Luther . Rawleigh, of Decarta, who was there too, recounted the fascinating story of how Lars Rasmussen, then a small scrappy Australian startup and one of his clients, was building a Google earth like app, which he demo’d to Larry Page. Larry said it was kind of cool but would be really cool if it worked inside a browser. Lars and co flew back to Australia, coded for two weeks straight and had what is now Google Maps. He flew back to Mountain View, Larry bought the company and he now heads up an engineering office in Australia. And the rest they say is history. [...]

Hey Dustin,

I was looking forward to meeting you in person but unfortunately our paths didn't cross at SF Inman Connect. Andy Kaufman told me you stopped by our blog workshop. Of course, that just happened to be one of the few times I was at our booth in the exhibit hall. I understand your panel was fantastic, sorry to have missed it. Hopefully we'll get the opportunity to meet in NYC.

@Dustin -Congrats on the nomination!
@Noah- Congrats on the award!

Hi!
I've seen your blog, very interesting! I'm writing my own too, on Argentina Real Estate, would you like to see it?
I've got several ones actually, they're all about things to know and tips when people is traveling Buenos Aires, or willing to buy Real Estate which is my main interest.
I think we may share the same target, would you like to do a links exchange with mine? I've got the Argentina Real Estate one, and its translation to spanish, and two more with tips for people coming to live to Argentina. I'm going to be bringing them up to date constantly, so what do you think? It might be worthy, just let me know! I'm not going to be selling any property, just giving tips and advice, althought a Real Estate web site is linked, my blog is meant to be for tips.
So, post me and it will come to my email address. Regards! Robert

Thanks Dustin!! It kills me to have missed the conference and finally spending time with the great bloggers that I was so fortunate to meet over the past year or so.

Hopefully you can make it to NYC in January for the next conference! This time, dinners and drinks are on me!
