And sometimes the growth can be so gradual, in such tiny increments, that you are not even aware of making a decision to be a "superagent". Kinda of like looking at your kid and wondering how he became a teenager so quickly.

An extra phone line here, another helper to file away paperwork for a couple hours there, another advertising contract here.

Did I actually make a decision to be where I am? Not exactly, but it evolved, and I allowed it to evolve. I wrote the checks. And so it goes.

Different strokes for different folks. Frankly, I admire the 'super' agents. They are able to scale their business, leveraging others, while still creating satisfied customers. Of course, could these customers have been more satisfied with someone like Ardell? Undoubtably so in most cases; however, barring unethical and downright unrespectful behavior from these super agent 'organizations', and assuming that the clients were happy with their respective transactions, more power to them! Frankly, I would like to model this type of agent, if I could find someone who shares my values and ethics. They're out there, for sure.

From an escrow perspective, working with transaction coordinators can be a challenge. Not always, but there are cases where it's adding another layer where miscommunication or no communication or wrong communication leads to troubled transaction management.

Think about all the people involved in a transaction: Both agents, buyers, sellers, loan officer, funding dept's, back office title staff, appraisers, etc...and then assistants and transaction coordinators.

Like watching the birth of your kids, it's remarkable that there is so much that can go wrong and yet everything works out and deals close on time!

Speaking of kids: We'd like to extend our congratulations to Samantha Shelton, one of our senior closers and LPO (Limited Practice Officer) who gave birth to a beautiful girl late last night! Woo hoo!
