I don't think there is a physical list of such words, it's more of a conceptual thing. If there weren't, what would stop me from registering "Phoenix Real Estate" and issuing cease and desist letters to all of the 9 bazillion Phoenix agents out there using those words? I’m no attorney, but I thought there were certain “types” of words that couldn’t be registered as trade or service marks.
