Friday’s Rates

Rhonda Porter on 03 15, 2007

On Friday…I’ll be forty.  That’s right, it’s my birthday.   I am going to take the day off of blogging and my real “job” in order to celebrate.

So I’m giving you a heads up that I will not be posting mortgage interest rates tomorrow.

This is my husband’s favorite photo of me.  It was taken of my MANY years ago at Lake Washington Park in Renton (before it was called Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park).   The buidling in the background was Boeing, of course, and it’s no longer there….

Bet you didn’t know that I’m an old born & raised Renton gal.   ;)

I’ll be thinking of you when I’m trying to blow out my 40 candles.

Cheers!

  8. Congratulations on this milestone, Rhonda. You’ll find that at 40, you start wondering about whether 40 year amortizations make sense.

  11. LOL…You’ll have to wait until Friday…She’s still partying!! The big 40…oh, I remember it well. Something about red satin PJs from Victoria Secret rings a bell…Honestly, it was the day I truly started to become younger. I was older at 40 than I am now.

Rhonda! After 40 gets better and better!!

  12. Brian, Rates are on Friday…today is Tuesday! ;) The party did go on all weekend. My husband surprised me with a party…I was convinced it was going to be a quiet night at home. He even hired my favorite childhood hero, JP Patches! I have a few photos up at http://www.mortgageporter.com. I’m waiting for my sisters to send me more (my husband was so excited, he was taking photos without a memory card). It was a busy (fun) weekend!

Today…I have the honor of hanging out with Jillayne at the Seattle King County Assoc. Realtors class on Blogging. She’s teaching, I’m the source of food (sandwhiches and chips, that is). :)

    I’m enjoying 40!

  13. The pics are great! What a fun birthday. You are NOT buying donuts, are you?

    #112148
  14. I’m not a donut person… but I am bringing lunch. This is not something that I often do but I think it will be interesting to sit through Jillayne’s class and to meet her future bloggers. ;)
