I signed up for IStock and liked what I saw there. Unfortunately I wanted it for Active Rain’s Localism posts, but they require that I rent a helcoptor and fly over Mt. Ranier and take the photo myself. “original photos” only. What a bunch of crap.

It's quite easy... Once you find a video (this TurnHere video on YouTube about Hermosa Beach will do: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ExEX4_w2aPo), then you look for the code that says "embed" on the YouTube page. (it's on the right panel. Copy and paste that embed code into a post, comment, sidepanel, etc, and assuming you have the ability to play embedded content from that platform, then everything should work. Here's what happens when I paste the embed code into this comment:

Ardell, If you're just looking to display interesting real estate video content on your site, there are many free options for embedding existing videos. The video sites that focus on real estate are:

With the exception of TurnHere, all of them have the option of embedding videos directly onto your site. To get the TurnHere videos on your site, you've got to find the ones that they've uploaded to Google Video or YouTube and use that embed code. In terms of interesting neighborhood content, you're best bet is TurnHere and/or any of the big video sites like YouTube, Google Video, Revver... With a little searching, you can find great videos on any of these sites! (but watch out, the process of finding them can be a huge time swamp!)

I don't know about podcasts and videos, but there are companies that sell stock photography such as istockphoto that you can use for flyers, web pages, blog postings. However, since I use Word 2007 I just use the Office Clip Art & Media gallery.
