Excellent summer classes for new landlords…
Reba Haas on 07 3, 2007
As an affiliate member of Rental Housing Association I get involved in various activities within the organization as well as providing information to the public about upcoming classes that may benefit those that own rental property. This post is specifically about the upcoming summer classes for new landlords that RHA is putting on in both King County and Pierce County areas. For those that aren’t aware the two rental housing lobbying groups that were separate before are now combined into one organization under RHA, however, offices are still open in each area to serve local members.
Find the link to the upcoming classes here. They include such classes as King County New Landlord Orientation and Tenant Screening.

Thanks much for the info, Reba.
I just closed on an investment property in Georgia…WOW, talk about not only a soft market, but decent rents! I basically got something worth 375K in Seattle for 115K in the Georgia equivalent of a Lynnwood or a Shoreline. The rents are 1100/mos…talk about an investment!
Kindly.
Yes, that is common also in Wichita, KS where I’ll be starting up a new branch of Team Reba in July. The 4-plex I just purchased was under $90k in price and it would easily have gone for over $300k here and higher in certain areas.
