You got it Jim!

Although my goal is not necessarily to reach as many people as possible as much as it is to reach as many people within my target audience.

My experience at Move was that many executives were actively interested in the tech news and RE.net gossip but simply didn't have the time (at at least didn't take the time) to follow the stories. When I started sending around my weekly emails at Move, the reaction was overwhelmingly positive and it actually sparked at least a few interesting conversations each week that likely would not have occurred otherwise.

I think the weekly email is a great idea. As much as we'd like for "them" to read via RSS, it's a reality that email reaches a different audience than blogs or RSS.

The goal is to reach as many as possible, no?

Ardell: I highly recommend just going straight to 4realz. The email is clearly designed for people who aren't going to do that! :)

I would prefer to visit 4Realz.net directly, unless the email includes items that are not on the blog. Though I do like the wrap up post above. Are you trying to be the next Brad Inman :)

I get an email from Inman when a new story hits, and then I get a "week in review" email as well. Rarely is there a story in the week wrap up email that I didn't catch the first time around. Often I don't even open them, since I likely caught everything at the time that it was originally posted.
