I generally recommend the use of a typo where visitors won't be as inclined to see it as I don't want to make anyone look like they lost their third grade spelling bee. One of the readers ripped me for it...hey I'm good at math--not spelling! ;) When I googled "principle and interest"...I was tops. I corrected "principle" where it appeared in my personal blog and I believe I just lined it out here at RCG, where the post that SB borrowed originated from. I always thought principal was your "pal" (like the principal of your school)...I've got it straight now!
