As a converted Mac user, every time I have to use a PC I groan! I feel like a criminal every time I can’t use something because it isn’t mac friendly and feel like a prisoner whenever I use a PC that is incessantly prompting me to verify I am running a legitimate copy.

I think they stole it from “It’s Frank’s World…we just live in it.” I believe the line was coined by Dean Martin, referring to Frank Sinatra. For NYC and the guy that said it, it sounded Sinatra-ish in tone.

This line is 8 years too late. Back when I was in school, that would have been appropriate. Now it’s just funny to see anyone putting a straight face on it.

As to Bill Gates, I like him; but that still doesn’t change the fact that Microsoft is still an evil monopoly (in certain segments of industry) and wield its power unjustly to crush competition in these segments. Thankfully it’s aging fast, I’ll be glad to see it go.
