So sad. My mother and aunt died ovarian cancer. It’ very hard to detect until it’s to late. If you have a family member that has this make sure you are tested yearly for CA 125. Simple blood test. I do it yearly. I will pray for her family. God rest her soul…

I think this must make every woman reflect on how deadly ovarian cancer can be. There are literally very few early stage symptoms. I noticed that now the Wall St Journal has mentioned her passing and there was also something on NPR tonight.

I suspect not Rhonda. I don’t think most people realize how many they touch. Last I looked, there were close to 1,200 comments on the Calculated Risk post.

Tanta had amazing insight and was a remarkable writer. She will be greatly missed. So sad for her family as she was taken at FAR too young an age.

I enjoy Greg Swan’s writing, but Doris (Tanta) was in a league of her own.
