yawn …
Was that a Dodger’s fan? Hi PatentGuy.
Here comes the Rays!
My friend in Boston just sent me a picture of himself in a Phillies baseball cap 🙂
I was rooting for Boston, but you had to be happy for those Rays. A first time is always worth celebrating, no matter who you were rooting for.
This world series has no down side for me. I’ll be happy whoever wins.
It’s just real fun to watch–I agree. I hope the Seahawks can turn it around quick so Seattle can have a team to cheer for. Right now, my hubby is reminding me that we always have the Central Wildcats (his alum).
One can always find a team to cheer for.
And the Phillies WIN the first ROAD GAME in the World Series of Baseball!!!
I’m cheering for Moyer tonight! Isn’t everyone in Seattle?
Definitely. As I write this he can win it, but not loose (and one run against him was on a bad call).
It’s good to have a sports star that is someone you can actually support.
Two down…two to go!
The season’s over for me–unless they decide to bring in Moyer as a closer in game 6. 😀
Blanton hits a home run!!! First career home run for this pitcher…and it comes during the World Series!
Gotta love it…
Ardell, are you from Philadelphia?
Our Lady of Angels and West Philadelphia Catholic Girls High School. Worked across the street from City Hall for almost 20 years. with Girard/Mellon Bank. Sold Real Estate on the East Coast for 8 years and West Coast for 10 going on 11.
Moyer’s from PA, you know. Went to St. Joe in my home base of West Philly/Bala Cynwood. My Dad used to audit classes there when I was a kid.
80 – 08 Believe it. Joe the Pitcher with a home run. What a weekend for Philly. The Flyers won, the Eagles won and technically the Phillies won twice on one day! Last night’s game was over this morning, Philly time. And The Who is playing across the street during win 3 out of 4.
When the world is going to hell in a handbasket, sports is a whole lot more meaningful 🙂 Gives you something to cheer about.
If you help me root for the Phillies tonight, I’ll root for the Seahawks when they play the Eagles on Sunday. Deal?
