Hi Ardell,
Great photos! My digital camera could not really keep up with the show, so I switched to the Flip Video camera. This is another great tool which is an inexpensive, easy to use (believe me) video camera which I first heard about at Inman’s Real Estate Connect last January. As my husband said, the directions to use it are: Turn it on! It’s that simple. There was a great article about the flip video camera in the Seattle Times today.

Here’s a YouTube from a flip video camera I did of the fireworks show in downtown Kirkland.

Kim used the Flip (we have three of them) while I used the Lumix. It’s much easier to edit a photo than a video, so the Lumix won.
I went to a video class over at Zillow last week (where we each received a free Flip in addition to the one we had) and was inspired by IanWatt.ca, one of my favorite agents. He uses his in his cupholder while driving. I’m trying mine on the treadmill while at the gym for the same type of idea.
Ok, Ardell. I want to see that video!
The Lumix camera takes an excellent photo. Looks like it was a clear night too.
Debra,
Here’s a link to Ian’s videos. I think they are the best and worthy of emulating. I’m aiming for mine to be not more than 2 minutes each.

Thanks, Ardell. I will check it out. I am really working on those videos these days. Even with the easy technology of the flip camera, it is still hard to make the videos meaningful and interesting, but I am working on it!
