[photopress:2_1.jpg,full,alignright]We just can’t be the only ones not reporting on this. That’s all I can say. It’s a sad day. Click on every word in Greg’s post for the full scoop heard round the world regarding Redfin and Web 2.0.
Maybe they should have closed for holiday during Glenn’s honeymoon. I never called my office once during my honeymoon…hope Glenn is doing the same and shutting out all forms of communication!
Try this one…it’s quicker.
I think lasting a week was pretty darn good! 🙂
Dustin,
Can you tell if that email was sent during Glenn’s absence. I don’t see a date on it.
I’m not sure which email you mean… Do you mean that one that was sent to “real estate 2.0” by Redfin? If so, that one had to happen in Glenn’s absence since the blog’s first post was only five days ago…
Yes, that one. Well then, Jeez Louise it is. Bad timing.
Can someone really own the rights to Real Estate 2.0 or Web 2.0? Isn’t that like trying to own Real Estate 101 or Transparency?
I’m no attorney, but I thought there were certain “types” of words that couldn’t be registered as trade or service marks. I don’t think there is a physical list of such words, it’s more of a conceptual thing.
If there weren’t, what would stop me from registering “Phoenix Real Estate” and issuing cease and desist letters to all of the 9 bazillion Phoenix agents out there using those words?
